Derek is one of the earliest members of MyWorld Careers joining soon after establishment in Myanmar and has played a pivotal role for the development of the Cambodia business. After joining in 2016 as Associate Consultant he has developed his career along with the growth of the business and now has taken on the role of Head of Business Development position. 

Derek has extensive experience in supporting clients from diverse industries such as Agriculture, Insurance, Information Technology, Industrial Equipment, FMCG, Logistics, Chemicals etc and has a series of successes in securing talents across Manager level to C Suite hiring while working closely with many of the multinational companies in both Myanmar and Cambodia including Dai-ichi Life, DKSH Cummins, Carlsberg, Corteva, Microsoft, Maersk and Mediterranean Shipping Lines. 

Derek is a result driven and open minded individual and a firm believer that hard work beats talent. He ensures the commercial objectives are being met in the business and maintains the No 1 position in Myanmar Market. He heads up a high performing team and always generates new strategy that could help the team to achieve their goals. 

Derek is a foodie and always open to explore traditional foods and cuisines of any country. He also enjoys playing Badminton in his free time.
