The Role

This Role requires develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance with local and international tax laws

Our client is an international retail companies in Phnom Penh that specializes in providing high-quality products to its customers

Description

• Oversee the preparation and submission of various tax documents, such as corporate income tax, sales tax, and property tax returns

• Prepare accurate financial statements with appropriate tax disclosures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards

• Identify potential tax risks and exposures, developing strategies to mitigate these risks through effective controls and processes

• Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and facilitate smooth audit processes

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential. A professional qualification such as a CA or CPA is highly preferred

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or accounting, preferably within a corporate environment or public accounting firm

• Familiarity with local tax laws in Cambodia as well as international taxation principles is advantageous

• Proficiency in English and Khmer
