The Role

This role leads accountants in an organization responsible for managing all accounting-related activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and overseeing efficient accounting processes

About the Company

Our client is an international manufacturing company in the Power Transmission and Distribution industry, with over 10 years of successful operation in Cambodia

Description

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including closing the company’s books accurately and timely

• Prepare, review, and approve invoices; ensure they are correctly coded in the general ledger

• Manage company cash flow to meet obligations and optimize investment strategies

• Act as the liaison with external auditors, coordinating financial, compliance, and tax audits

• Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, industry standards, and accounting principles

• Provide financial reporting and detailed analysis to support decision-making and operational strategy

• Lead, mentor, and manage accounting and finance team members

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure labor tax compliance

• Prepare company tax filings, financial statements, and regulatory reports as needed

• Advise managers based on financial data insights, supporting operational and strategic goals

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fields is required; advanced certifications (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are preferred

• Extensive accounting experience, often including 5+ years in senior accounting or finance roles

• Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

• Strong proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools

• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial strategy development

• Skilled in developing and maintaining effective internal controls and audit processes

• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring and developing staff

• Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels

• Attention to detail and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Fluent in English and Khmer
