The Role

The ideal background for the role will lead the development and management of the Ocean Freight business plan and strategy, including import/export operations, traffic, customized products, carrier negotiations, cost control, and collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to optimize net landed cost programs.

Description

• Oversee ocean freight operations, product pricing, customer service, and market analysis while ensuring profitability and performance monitoring.

• Collaborate with sales teams and partners to identify new business opportunities, optimize trade lanes, and manage carrier negotiations and contracts.

• Ensure compliance, monitor operational performance, and manage budgeting, billing, and risk management to achieve targets and improve service efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, ocean freight, or international business (or equivalent)

• 5+ years of experience in airfreight product or global freight management, including complex ocean freight operations and contract negotiations.

• Proven ability to manage large-scale international freight projects, collaborate with domestic and international partners

• Fluent English
