Senior Finance & Accounting Officer at one of the Agricultures Companies in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Description

  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning

  • Monitor and manage budgetary performance, providing recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to company assets and ensure financial accuracy

  • Develop cash management strategies and tactics to optimize working capital

  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business decision-making

  • Ensure financial risk management practices are in place to protect the company's financial stability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or senior accounting position. Experience in the agriculture sector or related industries highly preferred

  • Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. Knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations is required

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

  • Knowledge of Khmer, English or other regional languages is an advantage
