​2nd Hand Construction Machinery Business Manager at a Global Heavy Machinery Manufacturer in Bangkok, Thailand

  • Take full responsibility to develop and set up 2nd hand construction machinery business division

  • Up to 130,000 THB

The Role

The ideal candidate's background for the role comes from managing heavy machinery business and experience handling 2nd hand machinery market. Experience in setting up business and APAC experience would be highly appreciated but not mandatory

Description

  • Responsible for analyzing and researching the 2nd hand construction machinery industry, regional markets, competitors, and potential customer distribution, and regularly update reports

  • Evaluate the residual value and refurbishment costs of 2nd hand construction machinery equipment from subsidiaries, agents and customers

  • Recommend suitable used equipment (Excavators, loaders, etc) and promote for the orders

  • Complete the company’s periodic operations and marketing activities (auctions, promotions, etc)

  • Develop, communicate, negotiate, and sign agreements with external partners/regional partners, and manage and evaluate the partners

  • Identify target customers, expand the customer base through customer visits, Wechat marketing, online promotion, etc and conduct refined operations based on customer classification

  • Build a team for the repair and maintenance of used machinery, provide repair lists, and organize orders to complete repairs

  • Assist subsidiaries and dealers to operate leasing business, build 2nd hand machine and leasing team capabilities and specifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical mechanical, or related fields with an understanding of the construction machinery industry

  • Over 10 years of working experience in heavy machinery business and handled 2nd hand machinery business and after sales business management experience

  • Process forward-thinking and keen perception and insight, strong data analysis skills

  • Good team cooperation awareness and the ability to handle high work pressure

  • Willingness to adapt to long-term overseas business trips, with travel locations in the Southeast Asia Regions
