The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the financial health of the company. This role requires fluency in Chinese to handle communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and manage financial operations in a bilingual environment

Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities

  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is provided

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation

  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts

  • Implement cost accounting systems to track manufacturing costs accurately

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to inform decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are advantageous

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably in manufacturing sector

  • Proficiency in accounting software, and ability to interpret financial statements and prepare accurate reports

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Fluency in Chinese (both written and spoken) and Business English are required
