Commercial Lead – Chinese Vertical at Global Chemical Manufacturing Company in Bangkok, Thailand
Responsible to lead and manages Chinese Automotive OEMs, new energy (PV & BESS) and other relevant businesses in Asia Pacific
Up to 200,000 THB
The Role
The ideal candidate's background for the role is equipped with strong proficiency in Mandarin language and strong hands-on experience in commercial role with background from chemicals (preferably from engineering plastics or elastomers) or end customers at the automotive industry

Description
Establishes and manages Chinese Automotive OEMs, new energy (PV & BESS) and other relevant business in Asia Pacific
Leads and responsible for Chinese Transplant business development and strategy in ASEAN with company’s product portfolio
Provides clear directions and summaries of Chinese Transplant customers’ localization roadmap, parts priority, supplier value chain etc.
Creates acquisition plan, project pipelines and drive business hunting actions with local teams in country
Drives innovation and sustainability projects in Chinese Transplant business in Asia Pacific
Coordinates and implements pricing strategy/policy for strategic customers and supports launch of new products at key customers, including value pricing
Drives relationship management (all levels and functions) with in-depth understanding of customer needs (along value chain), industry drivers, unique selling points to recommend the best solutions and new business model, leading to the achievement of value creation for the customers and internal
Leads and drives customer engagement in local countries, including Seminar, Technology Day and Technical Workshop for strategic customers to generate innovation sales and business opportunities
Supports PU and TPU business opportunities scouting in Chinese Transplant customers cross SBU teams and solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and above. Major in Science or Engineering such as Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar
Minimum 10 years’ related experience in sales and/or business development and/or market development roles either from chemicals industry (preferable engineering plastics or elastomers) or end customer at the automotive industry
Mandarin language is a must
Basic knowledge of polymers (product properties, product development, etc.) and/or applications (tech development, design, evaluation, requirements)
Coordination cross teams and cross countries experience
Strategic thinking, and willing to familiarize with the business
Strong hunting spirit, networking and relationship-building skills
Communication effectively in both Chinese and English, local language in ASEAN will be a plus
