Business Development Manager at a Global Leading Lubricant for Automotive and Industrial Solution Company in Bangkok, Thailand
Responsible to expand the distribution of the brand in country across all channels
Up to 150,000 THB
The Role
The ideal candidate's background for the role comes from automotive aftermarket products sales, extensive experience in developing commercial vertical through B2B, B2C channel including OEM and Industrial channel. Able to work independently and travel extensively in Thailand to engage with customers

Description
Reporting to Country Manager, Thailand. This is a hybrid opportunity, 2 days remote per week
Expand the distribution of the products in country across all channels
Proactively initiate the plans, programs, offer to set up new partnerships for both B2B and B2C
Nurture and sustain new accounts for an agreed period and then transfer to sales team
Develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies for expansion and sustainable growth of volume and profitability
Develop both short-terms and long-term initiatives to drive growth with speed and agility
Closely monitor business performance and immediately take action to close the gap
Work closely internally with sales team (manager, supervisor, seller). Cross functional teams like Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, PLM and Pricing. Working relationships can be indirectly supervised by Cluster Manager
Externally with customers, distributors and new prospect
Responsible for developing and executing new business acquisition strategies, both short and long term, including of recruiting, retaining, and continuity across business group (retail, non-retails) and product category (passenger and motorcycle)
Develop initiatives and programs which create a differentiating competitive advantage in the market for growth and close the deal of prospect/ new of business, work closely with cross functional team to ensure a comprehensive offer is given to prospective customer
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 10 years of experience in lubricant oil, automotive parts, tires will be a plus
Go to market strategic planning and networking
Customer management experience
Proven experience of delivering results consistently in different environments
Travel up to 50% may be required for the role
