Our client is a successful international garment manufacturer, with export across the globe, strong EU management systems and unique in-house Product Development team in their Factories

Description

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, identify areas for reduction, and compare production methods to enhance efficiency and minimize expenses

  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline operations, reduce waste, and achieve better productivity and quality outcomes

  • Develop and refine cost estimates for new designs and modifications while ensuring cost-efficiency aligns with product quality standards

  • Collaborate with planners to align schedules with cost objectives, optimize workflows, and address bottlenecks to meet deadlines

  • Monitor expenses to meet budget goals, implement cost-saving measures, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers

  • Analyze cost and production data to identify improvement opportunities, generate insightful reports, and recommend actionable changes

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in a related Engineering field will be advantageous

  • Knowledge in Lean manufacturing and methodologies

  • Background in Industrial Engineering

  • Great problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Skilled in computer software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Email

  • Knowledge in process analysis, capacity estimation and time observation
