Description

• Develop and implement the technical sales roadmap for direct importer markets, ensuring alignment with Asia Pacific strategic objectives

• Build skills, knowledge, and accountability within importer markets to strengthen the technical connection between APAC Technical Management and local teams

• Partner with sales and business development teams to address technical service needs, prioritize training, and support product and Bodyshop initiatives in importer markets

• Lead the execution of technical services, solutions, and processes in coordination with direct importers’ technical teams

• Act as a technical expert in customer negotiations, optimizing processes, addressing competitors’ arguments, and identifying customer-centric solutions to drive growth

• Strengthen communication and planning across Regional Technical Application, Marketing, Strategic Account Management, and importer partners to ensure effective forecasting, reporting, and follow-ups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or significant experience in the refinish coatings industry

• At least 10 years in automotive technical management, process improvement, project management, or technical customer support roles with increasing responsibility

• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate across teams without direct authority

• Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and logical thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities

• Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 2-3 weeks per month

• Excellent English communication skills (additional Asian languages are a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
